Genevieve’s ‘Lionheart’ Screened At Bonhams African Art In London

Nigerian Nollywood star, Genevieve Nnaji’s ‘Lionheart’ was screened at Bonhams African Art Gallery in London.

The screening held during the 2019 International Women’s Day celebration.

Recall that ‘Lionheart’ premiered at the 2018 Toronto International Film Festival in Ontario, Canada, and was acquired and released worldwide by Netflix on January 4, making it the first Netflix original film produced in Nigeria.

The movie which was screened for the first time at the festival on Friday, Sept. 7, 2018 depicts a story of Adaeze, a young lady who steps up to the challenge when her father, Ernest Obiagu, is forced to take a step back from his company due to health issues.

“LionHeart” was also among the three Nollywood Films Selected For Hollywood Exhibition.

Genevieve is currently touring the world with her directorial debut, ‘Lionheart.’

Nnaji was also interviewed by CNN’s Tom Bouchier Hayes after the movie was screened.
