The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, has frozen all accounts of the Akwa Ibom state government.
The development comes less than 24 hours after the anti-graft agency froze accounts of the Benue State government.
According to reports, the development came as a shock to the state governor, Emmanuel Udom, as the EFCC did not notify them before blocking the accounts.

At the time of filing this report, the EFCC is yet to comment on the development.
