10-Year-Old United Fan Unhappy With Liverpool’s Winning Streak

Liverpool have been unbeaten in the 2019-2020 Premier League season, having won 25 and drawn 1, to lead the table with 76 points.

Arsenal has the highest unbeaten record in the history of the league. The team won 49 consecutive league games from 7 May 2003 to 24 October 2004.

The record set by Liverpool this season has made a 10-year-old Manchester United fan, named simply Daragh, to plead with head coach Jurgen Klopp to end the club’s winning streak.

According to him “Liverpool are winning too many games. If you win 9 more games then you have the best unbeaten run in English football.

“Being a United fan, that is sad. So, the next time Liverpool play, please make them lose.

“I hope I have convinced you to not win the league or win another match ever again.”

Reacting, Klopp told Daragh in a letter that he would not grant the request, adding that United was lucky to have him as a fan.

Meanwhile, Man United are 7 on the table with 38 points, having lost 8 of their 26 games.
