19 Killed, Many Injured In Kano Road Crash

Nineteen people were killed while seven others sustained injuries after four vehicles collided on a busy road in Kano state.

The commander of the Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC) in the state Zubairu Mato, confirmed  the accident  adding that the incident occurred late Sunday at Dinyar Madiga village in Takai local government area of the state.

“A total of 19 people died in the accident involving four vehicles, including two buses and two cars,” Mato said.

Mato who attributed the accident to over speeding said the vehicles collided while trying to dodge potholes.
