19-Year-Old Girl Returns 6 Days After Her Abduction By Alleged Ritualists

A teenage girl, Ibiso Wilberforce who was declared missing after she failed to return from church on Sunday, October 4th around the Sand Field Axis of Borikiri has been found.

THE WHISTLER, learnt the 19-year-old was found Saturday night at about 11:30pm, about a week after she went missing.

According to her sister, Lundi Wilberforce, Ibiso was held hostage by ritualists who dropped her on Saturday night, at Elelenwo Port Harcourt, capital of Rivers.

She said: “Her escape was just a miracle, according to her explanations.

“Only she can can truly explain what really played down there, we are just grateful for her life and return.

“She was on the road trying to locate my Granny’s house which was close to the place they dropped her when vigilante men saw her and immediately called the lines displayed on my post.

“We then instructed them to take her to the nearest police station or take her to my granny’s house since the place is not far from her place.

“That was around 11pm that all of this was happening. We bless God Ibiso is now back and reunited with the family,” She said.
