2018 World Cup Qualifier: Super Eagles Held To A Draw In Yaoundé

The Super Eagles of Nigeria were on held to a 1-1 draw by their arch rivals, the Indomitable Lions of Cameroun in the Russia 2018 World Cup qualification match on Monday in Yaoundé, Cameroun.

Simon Moses who was assisted by China-based striker Odion Ighalo, scored a goal for the Eagles at the first half but the Lions leveled proceedings when Abubakar converted from the spot in the second half.

The draw means Cameroun are officially out of the World Cup and Nigeria solidify their position at the top of the group B table with 10 points.

In the other group B fixtures Algeria will play Zambia at home on Tuesday.
