2019: Buhari Woos Igbo With Fresh Promises

President Muhammadu Buhari has told the Igbo ethnic extraction that the “Igboland will never be the same again” by the time his second term in office eventually comes to an end in 2023.

Buhari said his administration is not unaware that the country, especially the South East region, has many deficits in infrastructure but that he would ensure most of the deficits are taken care of before the end of his second tenure.

But the president, who was represented by his Senior Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina, made the promise of developing the region while flagging off the 5.5km road in Isieketa community, Isiala Ngwa South LGA, Abia State.

He said, “One thing that is dear to the heart of President Buhari is infrastructure, roads, railway, power, etc.
