2019: Gombe Governor, Dankwambo In Closed-Door Meeting With Obasanjo

Governor of Gombe State, Ibrahim Dankwambo, is currently in a closed-door meeting with the former president, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo.

The meeting is holding at Obasanjo’s presidential penthouse in Abeokuta.

Dankwambo, a presidential aspirant under the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, arrived Obasanjo’s Presidential library complex at exactly 1.10pm with his entourage.

The meeting might not be unconnected to Dankwambo’s presidential ambition.

Recall that Senate President Bukola Saraki, barely 24 hours ago, also met with Obasanjo.

Although the reason for the meeting was said to be in celebration of Obasanjo’s new library, speculations have it that the meeting with Saraki was largely political.
