2019: Group Begins Grassroots Mobilization For Gov Ugwuanyi’s Re-election

Preparations for the re-election of Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi’s second term in office have commenced at the grassroots in Igboeze South Local Government Area of Enugu State.

The Enugu chapter of the Gburugburu Movement commenced the mobilization last week for another 4-year term of Ugwuanyi as the governor of the state.

This was according to Professor Fab Obetta Onah, director general of the movement, who made this known in Ibagwa Aka during his visit to the council’s chairman, Fidelis Odo.

“It is amazing that this group formed to champion the reelection of Gov Ugwuanyi also played a prominent role in ensuring total victory for the Peoples Democratic Party at the recent local government elections in the state,” Onah said during the visit.

He added: “We also congratulate Hon Odo on his election as council chairman, and further declare our readiness to mobilize voters for the deservedly reelection of Gov Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi as governor ahead of the 2019 governorship election.”

Responding, Hon Odo said, “Igboeze south LGA is proud to be associated with all the support groups, but the Gburugburu Movement is the mother of all of them being Gov Ugwuanyi’s brainchild.”
