2Baba Pledges Support For Late Sound Sultan’s Family
One of Nigeria most famous singer Innocent Idibia professionally known as 2Baba has said he will never stop celebrating the late musician Olanrewaju Fasasi, well known as Sound Sultan who died on July 11.
Sound Sultan, who died at the age of 44 after battling throat cancer, was said to be undergoing treatment for Angioimmunoblastic T-cell lymphoma in the United States.
The ‘African Queen’ singer made this known via his official Instagram page days after the death of Sound Sultan, as he promised to keep supporting the family he left behind.
He wrote, “Couldn’t bring myself to do this but what can we do. Rest well. Till we meet again my dear friend and brother.
“Still so unreal. Will never stop celebrating you. I promise you your fam will be safe and good. #GRATEFUL for you and the blessings that you represented in my life.”
2baba and Sound Sultan have released some songs together such as ‘Bush Meat’, ‘Enter The Place’, and ‘Prayer’ among others.
THE WHISTLER had reported that many Nigerian celebrities reacted to the sudden death of Nigerian music star, Sound Sultan.
The Celebrities who took to their social media platforms described the death of the late music star as tragic.
They described him as someone that is talented, adding that the entertainment industry in Nigeria has lost a legend.
