2Face Launches First Book ‘A Very Good Bad Guy”

Nigeria’s pop icon, Innocent ‘2face’ Idibia has launched his biography, ‘A Very Good Bad Guy’ at a public presentation in Terra Kulture, Lagos State.

The book, published by NET NG, tells the story of ‘2Face’ Idibia. The book also reveals his life as a celebrity, family man and musician.

The icons first book was edited by Nigerian journalist, Ayeni Adekunle, who Is the publisher of Nigerian Entertainment Today, and founder of Black House Media.

Adekunle, who is also the founder of ID Africa, a digital marketing agency, said the idea of the book came to him in May while he was in London.

The presentation was hosted by Nigeria’s king of comedy, Ali Baba, who said: “The book should be called The Dynamics and Challenges of Being A Super Star.

“It’s a book every artist who is looking at becoming a star must have,” the comedian added.

2face’s mum, Mrs. Rosemary Idibia, who was also at the event, expressed profound joy towards his (2face) musical achievements, she however noted that she had wished her son became a banker, doctor or lawyer.

She said: “His inclination towards music was shown at an early age of five; he would mimic songs from TV and Radio. We hoped he would pursue one of these high sounding professions like law, medicine, banking and so on.”

The event was graced by popular celebrities to include, DJ Jimmy Jatt, Tiwa Savage, Tee Billz, Tunde and Wunmi Obe, Segun Arinze, Richard Mofe Damijo, Teju Babyface, IllBliss and Adesua Etomi.
