Owoseni, who spoke on Wednesday in Lagos, claimed that the State Police Command had received intelligence report on how criminals plan to hijack the February 6th. protest.

“We know that Tuface does not have the capacity to contain such a crowd and we will not fold our hands and watch while things go out of hand,” the police commissioner said.

Recall that Mr. Idibia had rallied the support of his fans and colleagues on social media to stage a protest against “unfavourable” economic policies of the President Muhammadu Buhari-led government.
