5 Nurses Suspended For Examining Dead Patient’s Penis Size

The management of Denver Health Medical Center, Colorado, United States, was left in grave shock after five of its nurses were caught examining a dead patient’s manhood size.

The nurses, whose names have been withheld, were suspended after five of them reportedly opened a ‘body bag’ to view the deceased’s penis size.

They were said to have previously seen the patient’s manhood size whilst he was still alive and incapacitated from a distance, but out of curiosity, examined his genital when he was pronounced dead.

The Denver Channel reports that the incident, which happened between March 31 and April 3, was not publicised until months after.

According to the report, the medical workers were caught after another nurse eavesdropped their discussions and reported the matter to authorities of the hospital on May 8.

The Denver Police Department investigated the matter but didn’t find the nurses guilty of any crime, a spokesperson of the hospital said.

Similarly, the Denver District Attorney’s Office found no concrete evidence to bring criminal charges against the nurses.

Meanwhile the DailyMail.com gathered that the medical centre, while apologising for the conduct of its staffers, had notified the deceased’s next of kin of the incidence.

“Denver Health is truly sorry this happened.

“This incident it is not an appropriate representation of the high-quality care and compassion our clinical staff strive to provide to our patients,” the medical centre told Daily Mail in a statement.

Four of the nurses are said to have served their suspension and have resumed work, while one of them resigned.
