76 Hungry Boko Haram Members Surrender To Army

No fewer than seventy-six members of the Boko Haram sect, on Wednesday, surrendered to the Nigerian military in Gwoza, Borno State.

The surrendered Boko haram members, which includes women and children, have all been detained at military headquarters in Maiduguri, the state capital.

A senior military officer and a member of the Civilian JTF, revealed that the detainees claimed that many more fighters were willing to surrender.

Recall that in September, the army had announced that 335 insurgents surrendered in Banki and Biu, towns in Borno.
