The Abia State Civil Service Commission has reassured residents of the state that the ongoing healthcare workers recruitment process is transparent, fair, and based strictly on merit.
This clarification comes in response to a recent publication alleging the sale of slots in the recruitment exercise.
The Commission, in a statement signed by Pst Eno Jerry Eze, Chairman, described the allegations as baseless and unfounded, stressing that the process has been designed to uphold the highest standards of integrity.
The state read in parts, “The Abia State Civil Service Commission is compelled to address a recent publication alleging the sale of slots in the ongoing healthcare workers recruitment process. We wish to assure Abians that these allegations are baseless and unfounded.

“The application, Computer-Based Test (CBT), and interview processes have been meticulously designed to eliminate biases and ensure that only the best and most qualified candidates are selected for the available positions.

“We want to assure Abians that, just as with the Computer-Based Tests, the final results of the recruitment process, along with candidates’ documentation status, will be publicly published on the official recruitment portal.
