Abia Pensioners Protest 11 Months Unpaid Arrears, Gratuity

Nigeria Union of Pensioners, Abia State Council, embarked on a protest march in Umuahia, the Abia State capital, to press home the failure of the government to meet up with the agreement they had with the governor few weeks ago.

Recall that the pensioners had a meeting with Governor Okezie Ikpeazu few weeks ago.

The pensioners, in their hundreds marched the major streets in the state capital Umuahia, to protest 11 months nonpayment of arrears and gratuity.
