The former minister of aviation Femi Fani-Kayode, has rebuked the Federal Government over its interference with activities of churches.
His rebuke follows the retirement of the general overseer of The Redeemed Christian Church of God, Enoch Adeboye, following the government Financial Regulatory Council of Nigeria, FRCN, law.
The law stipulates 20 years tenure for heads of religious groups and civil society groups in the country.
The former minister, in a tweet, said that the government is only bent on attacking churches, adding that the federal government has no business with religious groups.
