African Games: Tobi Amusan Wins 100m Hurdles Gold To Boost Nigeria’s Medal Haul

Nigeria’s queen of the track, Tobi Amusan, was in her imperious best to win the 100m hurdles gold medal at the ongoing African Games in Ghana on Wednesday.

Amusan clocked 12.89 seconds to win the race ahead of Mozambique’s Sidoane Fiadanantsoaso and Ashley Tinashe of Zimbabwe, who went home with the silver and bronze medals, respectively.

She was almost disqualified at the beginning of the race following a false start, but she was left off the hook by being cautioned with a yellow card.
