African Queen: 2Face Slams N50m Lawsuit On Blackface
Ahmedu Augustine, known by his stage name Blackface has revealed he is being sued for N50m by Innocent Idibia, known as 2face, his former Plantashun Boiz bandmate.
Blackface disclosed this on Thursday in a post on his Instagram page.

Recall that some years ago Blackface claimed 2face stole his song ‘let Somebody Love You’ featuring American singer Bridget Kelly and ‘African Queen’ without credit.
However, in 2017, 2face and his manager Efe Omoregbe denied the allegation and asked for an apology letter from blackface, instructing him to apologise for all the defamatory statements he made against them over time or get sued within seven days of receiving the letter.
Blackface did not heed the warning, but rather responded by saying they should ‘go to hell’.
Following his refusal, 2Baba and his manager Efe Omoregbe sued Blackface for claiming he wrote the song Let Somebody Love You and African Queen.

From the social media post shared by blackface which wasn’t very clear, it appeared the case was first filed at the High Court of Lagos State in the Ikeja Judicial Division earlier this year February 2018 and the first hearing was in April 2018.
