Again, Sanwo- Olu Issues Fresh Promise To Make Roads, Bridges Motorable

The Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has reassured Commuters and businesses of his commitment to improve the road infrastructure of the country’s most densely populated state.

Sanwo-Olu had earlier said that the government was working towards making all densely populated areas traffic free and easily accessible for all residents, with no favorable nor preferred location.

In a fresh statement on Sunday, the governor of Nigeria’s economic hub, said his administration has set up all necessary mechanisms to accelerate the projects.

He said, “We are not oblivious to the issues faced daily by Lagosians on the roads, hence the round the clock rehabilitation, upgrade and improvements of inner roads, streets, highways and major roads being carried out by Lagos State Public Work Corporation.

“We therefore implore Lagosians to please bear with us and cooperate with us as we continue to make our roads and bridges safe and motorable for everyone.”

He further unveiled the extent of progress achieved in the rehabilitation of former Lekki 2nd roundabout.
