Co-convener of BringBackOurGirls, BBOG, an advocacy group, Aisha Yesufu, has reacted to President Muhammadu Buhari comment that Nigerian youths just want to sit and do nothing, banking on the notion that Nigeria is an oil-rich nation.
“More than 60 percent of the population is below 30, a lot of them haven’t been to school and they are claiming that Nigeria is an oil producing country, therefore, they should sit and do nothing, and get housing, healthcare, education for free,” Buhari had said while speaking at Commonwealth Business Forum in Westminster, London.
Aisha, who is an ardent critic of President Buhari said his statement is a national embarrassment, adding that he has to vacate his seat in 2019.

Aisha said, “Buhari is not only the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria he is also the National Embarrassment of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. He has to go in 2019 so he can be an embarrassment at his expense.
“From a President who rode on the back of the Nation from childhood till date, one who was and still pampered and given freebies.
“President Muhammadu Buhari @MBuhari needs to stop the inferiority complex.”

Mr President, your conclusion on Nigerian Youths is full of mistakes and gaffe and this has shown to Nigerian Youths that nothing good you have planned for them. Back to your statement, if their Population of this Nation youth carries 60% therefore it’s their Votes that made you won the regime you’re running. Secondlly,talks on youth program coordinated by Ambassador Dr. Akoh,on Nigerian Peace Corps Bill which you outrightly refused to assent is it not full of same youths? The N-power program you cannot absorb after the batch A with less than 50000 population throughout the Federation and Millions of Nigerian Youths are still waiting for are not something to think of by you. Ha ba, still yet you are still going around to stain us where we can travel to for alternative means to make our careers. Is any of your children have potential more than us? Youths, cast your next Presidential vote wisely. God will judge.
