Aisha Tells Buhari: Stop Dragging Jonathan Into Your Incompetence

President Muhammadu Buhari has been urged to focus on his administration and stop dragging former President Goodluck Jonathan into his alleged incompetence.

“Can someone tell PMB he was not voted to drag title of incompetence with Former President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan? He should leave GEJ alone!,” tweeted Aisha Yesufu, a co-convener of the Bring Back Our Girls (BBOG) campaign organisation.

Yesuf said President Buhari’s comparison of himself to Jonathan was needless and only goes to further expose his level ineptness to Nigerians.

It would be recalled that Buhari had during a town hall meeting in Damaturu, Yobe state, claimed that his administration responded better to the 110 Dapchi schoolgirls abduction than Jonathan did when about 276 schoolgirls were abducted from their hostels in Chibok, Born State, in 2014.

Yesufu said rather than empathise with the families the schoolgirls that were abducted by the Boko Haram insurgents, President Buhari allegedly turned his Yobe condolence visit to a show of incompetence.

“President Muhammadu Buhari’s tour was supposed to be of empathy and condolence instead it has turned into a show of incompetence,” said the BBOG co-convener.
