‘Aisha’s Prado Gifts’: Is Corruption A Buhari Family Business? Omokri Asks

Ex-presidential aide, Reno Omokri, has taken a swipe at Aisha Buhari, wife of President Muhammadu Buhari, over reports that she received two Prado SUVs from the Inspector General of Police, Mr Ibrahim Idris.

This comes after the Senator representing Bauchi Central, Isa Misau, made fresh allegations against IGP Idris.

Misau had said “The Inspector- General of Police gave the First Lady, wife of the President, two SUVs and this came through a letter from the ADC to the First Lady who requested on her behalf that she needed a Sienna and Hiace for personal use, but she was given the two SUVs for her private use.”

Recall that the federal lawmaker had, among other allegations, accused the Police Inspector General of receiving between N10m and N15m as bribe from Commissioners of Police who sought favourable postings.

Reacting to the senator’s fresh allegations, Omokri said:

The former media aide to ex-president Goodluck also attacked the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Malam Garba Shehu, over claims that “invisible hands” in the previous administration were behind the return of wanted ex-pension boss, Abdulrasheed Maina.

“Even after AGF Malami has confessed, the shameless @GarShehu is still blaming GEJ. One day they will blame GEJ for impregnating their wives!,” Omokri said.
