The Ilana Omo Oodua which is the umbrella body for all Yoruba self-determination groups has disowned some youths who violently forced open the Idiroko Border in Ogun State on Saturday.
The Communication Secretary of Ilana Omo Oodua, Mr Maxwell Adeleye, said in an interview with THE WHISTLER on Sunday morning that the group did not know those who carried out the act.
Ilana Omo Oodua which is being led by a renowned historian, Prof. Banji Akintoye, said the group is known for its peaceful approach towards achieving its aim which is self-determination for Yoruba.

A video of some youths shouting Yoruba Nation went viral on Saturday.
The youths stormed Idiroko in Ogun State and forcefully opened its land border between Nigeria and the Republic of Benin.
Adeleye said he also saw the video but said the group would never approve of violence.
He said, ” I saw the video but I don’t know any of them. Ilana Omo Oodua is not in support of any act of violence.
” Prof. Banji Akintoye is a man of peace and his approach has always been peaceful.
” If you see anyone engaged in violence, such person is sent as a mole and to give us a bad name. We are not for violence. Security agencies should investigate those involved in the act.
“All the security agencies know that we don’t engage in violence, we have never used violent approach and we will never be violent but Yoruba Nation is unstoppable.”
The video on social media showed a gun being snatched from an Immigration officer and one of the youths shot into the air.
Some of the youths were calling on the security agents to come and shoot them.
The Federal Government had closed the border since 2019 and ordered that all importation should be done through the seaport.
Akintoye and his group of cowards should get lost. Any individual or group which is not ready for the bloody engagement involved for our liberation as this territory natives from the bondage of fulani caliphate called Nigeria in which the six geopolitical zones are sovereign states, should get lost.

The majority of Yoruba people who firmly stand for Oduduwa Republic of south west within Disintegrated Republics of this territory natives must move ahead without Akintoye and his group of cowards, group of political illiterates, to secure territorial borders of Oduduwa Republic, fix the lands and economies or suffer.
Fulani criminals from Guinea violently established the fraud nickname fulani caliphate with its emirates in 1804, British bandits violently established the fraud nickname Nigeria in 1914.
We this territory natives who owns the land and are more than 99% population of this territory have defeated 1804 fulani caliphate with its emirates the way we defeated 1914 amalgamation of British bandits in 1960. We’re now the government over our God given native lands in which the six geopolitical zones are sovereign states- Biafra Republic of south east, Niger Delta Republic of south south, Oduduwa Republic of south west, North East Republic, North West Republic, Midwest Republic. Hausa people, Kanuris etc. of the north will be traditional rulers, religious leaders, political office holders etc. over their God given native lands under their sovereign states. Southern natives will have democratic capacity under their sovereign states to fix their lands, economies.
Any geopolitical zone which fail to establish interim government of their sovereign state now with military, police etc. to defend territorial borders of their sovereign states, fix their lands and economies, won’t survive this 2021. Only the Sword decides.
