Akpobolokemi’s Trial Adjourned Till Feb 17

Akpobolokemi, who was arraigned on December 3, 2015 alongside nine others before Justice Saliu Saidu is charged with N3.4bn fraud, levelled against him by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

At the resumed hearing, after the accused had pleaded not guilty to all charges preferred against them, they were admitted to bail by the judge. The judge consequently fixed February 17 and 18 for trial.

Akpobolokemi co-accused persons are Capt. Ezekiel Agaba; Ekene Nwakuche; Felix Bob-Nabena; Capt. Warredi Enisouh; Governor Juan; Ugo Frederick and Timi Alari.

They were charged with 30 counts alongside two companies – Al-kenzo Limited and Penniel Engineering Services Limited.
