Alleged Tax Documents Forgery: S’Court Grants Nwosu’s Application Against Ikpeazu

The Supreme Court of Nigeria, on Wednesday, granted an application filed by Barrister Friday Nwosu to be heard by the court.

The Apex court also fixed January 18th 2018 for hearing and determination of Nwosu’s case against Abia State Governor, Dr. Okezie Victor Ikpeazu.

Nwosu who was an aspirant in the December 8, 2014 PDP governorship primaries in Abia State, is challenging the qualification of Governor Ikpeazu based on his tax papers.

Recall that Barrister Nwosu had earlier filled a notice of appeal at the Supreme Court against the decision of the Court of Appeal that it lacks jurisdiction to hear and determine a case of alleged submission of false information, CA/OW/190/2016, filed against Gov. Ikpeazu.
