Ammasco International Distributes Palliatives To Customers In Enugu

Ammasco International Ltd, Saturday, provided some palliatives for members of the National Automobile Technicians Association, NATA, Enugu chapter, to cushion the effect of the Coronavirus pandemic.

The chief executive of the company, Alhaji Ado Mustaphar, said the palliatives were to reduce the harsh effects of the pandemic, which led to the mechanics being out of work for a long time to avoid the spread of the virus.

THE WHISTLER gathered that Ammasco International Ltd, makers of oil and lubricants, extended similar palliatives to registered motor mechanics across the thirty-six states of the federation and Abuja.

Bags of rice and other food items were distributed during the event held at Zik Avenue, Enugu.

In a speech, the chairman of NATA, Enugu chapter, Comr. Sunday Nnaji, expressed gratitude to the donor.

According to him, “We have been partners with Ammasco International Ltd. We are buyers and promoters of their products. This gesture is huge. My prayer is that the Almighty God continue to bless the management of the company. We shall keep observing various rules aimed at curtailing the spread of the pandemic, both at our various houses and workshops.”

The public relations officer of the chapter, Emmanuel Edem, called on well-to-do people and organizations to emulate the gesture of the donor.

On his part, the coordinator, Local Emergency Management Committee, Enugu State, Mr. Emeka Oko, commended the oil company for the gesture.

He said, “As an emergency agency, we ensure that distribution of palliatives of this kind is done in a transparent manner. I must also appreciate our governor, Rt. Hon. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, for measures he has put in place to ensure we have as less cases as possible in Enugu State. It is commendable.”

The national chairman of NATA, Alhaji Magaji, and the national secretary, Comr. Yahaya Musa, were among those that witnessed the event.
