Following a search carried out on the truck conveying them, it was gathered that 25 guns, charms and 10 dogs were found.

They reportedly told the Amotekun corps that they were going into the bush for hunting expedition but they were not allowed to proceed on the journey and they were said to have been handed over to the police.

Our correspondent gathered further that the men arrested by the corps are Hausa men and the herdsmen crisis in Ibarapaland gave room for suspicion that the men might have been on reprisal mission.

He said, ” Yes, they were arrested yesterday but cannot talk much where I am now.”
