FG’s decision to build a helipad in President Buhari’s hometown of Daura has attracted the wrath of Nigerians. Some Nigerians took to the social network Twitter to express their displeasure over what they perceived as insensitivity on the part of the FG led by Mohammadu Buhari.
Some Nigerians argued that building an helipad will constitute a priority fail on the part of Mr. Buhari who is yet to appoint principal officer and minister one month after being sworn in.

Others defended the decision saying it doesn’t cost billions to build. Excerpts..
They said Jonathan left us an empty treasury. But they are building a luxury helipad for President Buhari in Daura. Wonders of change!

No problems. Let the President have the helipad if Nigeria’s ’empty treasury’ can afford it. But Nigerians need him to PERFORM. No stories!

Imagine if na GEJ dey build helipad first month in office no ministers and with all these bombings going on. Hypocrites!

Even if a helipad costs $10 to build, that shld nt be d most important issue for this govt for now. A govt that has not appointed ministers?
