World heavyweight champion, Anthony Joshua has vowed to reclaim his tittles if the boxing bodies force him to vacate his world heavyweight titles, warning that he would fight to regain them.

The Whistler had earlier reported that Joshua is to face two mandatory title defences against Kubrat Pulev and Oleksandr Usyk, who are his IBF and WBO mandatory challengers respectively.

IBF and WBO are making attempts to force Joshua to a fight, however, Eddie Hearn, Joshua’s promoter hopes to reach a deal to make the fight possible.

Reports have it that Joshua has been reluctant about the mandatory battles after his initial flawless defeat by Ruiz which is the only defeat he has suffered in his career.

Joshua confirmed the rumor in an interview with Sky Sports, stating that he might give up one of his belts to make the rematch more entertaining, adding that he has beaten four champions already.

“I always said the belts do not represent me,” “I will stand as a champion, even if I have to give one up.

“It would give me an opportunity to face another world champion – I’ve beaten four world champions on my record now.

“If I give up a belt it creates more history and entertainment. If I have to, I’ll give it away – but I’ll get it back again.” He said.
