APC Chairmanship: Oshiomole ‘Best Man’ To Replace Oyegun – Shehu Sani

Shehu Sani, senator representing Kaduna central in the National Assembly, has thrown his weight behind former governor of Edo State, Adams Oshiomole, to be the next national chairman of All Progressives Congress (APC).

Sani, in a statement on Thursday, described the former Edo governor as the best man to reposition the party and end the longstanding misunderstanding among members of the party.

“Comrade Oshiomole is the best man to reposition the party, end its civil war, Cold War, internal disorder, anomie, morass and paralysis,” Sani wrote on Facebook.

“The party is presently led by captains who have lost both control and confidence and Referees and Linesmen whose whistle and flags are not respected by the players. I wish the comrade the best of luck.”

Oshiomhole is expected to declare his bid for the national chairmanship of APC in Abuja on Thursday.

Oshiomhole said that Imo Governor, Rochas Okorocha, would lead governors elected on the party’s platform to the declaration which would hold at Transcorp Hilton.
