Ahead of the National Executive Committee meeting of the All Progressives Congress (APC) slated for Tuesday, the party has renovated its secretariat.
The NEC meeting, which is expected to be attended by President Muhammadu Buhari, would among other things discuss the suspension of the National Chairman, Adams Oshiohmole and the way forward for the party, according to sources at the secretariat.
When THE WHISTLER visited the secretariat on Monday, it was observed that the fence housing the premises is now wearing a new look as it has been repainted in milk and oxblood colours. The fence before now, was almost dilapidated.

The gate of the secretariat, which before now was defaced with all manner of party posters, has also been repainted and now in dark sparkling colours.
It was gathered that the renovation was carried out on Saturday / Sunday.
Generally, the ambience at the secretariat at the time of this report, is that of normalcy as everything was moving on well.
Recall that on Thursday last week, the billboard bearing the photos of Buhari and Oshiohmole was replaced with that of only the president.
Meanwhile, another source at the secretariat, hinted that Buhari would convene a meeting with all the governors under the party’s platform today by 3pm, in view of the ongoing appeal filed by Oshiohmole, challenging his suspension by the FCT High Court.
The source noted that, if the embattled chairman get justice at the appellate court, he would be able to attend the NEC, otherwise the meeting would hold without his presence.
