APC Senators Currently Holding Secret Meeting, Omokri Raises Alarm

Media aide to former President Goodluck Jonathan, Reno Omokri, has revealed that some All Progressives Congress, APC senators loyal to President Muhammadu Buhari are currently amassing at Sheraton Hotel Abuja.

“I have just been informed that the remaining @OfficialAPCNg Senators loyal to @MBuhari are now amassing at Sheraton Hotel Abuja.

“I urge all newsmen to now go there to #FrustrateBuhariDictatorship. Go there with your news crew. They are there. Expose them to the whole world!” Omokri wrote on Twitter.

This development follows the converging of some Senators and House of Representatives members at the National Assembly early Tuesday morning.

Operatives of the Department of State Services and other security agents have massively reinforced the entry and exit of the premises, in a bid to stop the lawmakers from gaining access into the building.

Some lawmakers who were blocked from entering the National Assembly have forced their way in.

Senator Kabir Ibrahim had said the senators arrived the premises in order to prevent alleged plot to impeach Senate President Bukola Saraki.

“I got to the gate five minutes to seven. There were masked DSS men there and the Nigeria Police, he said.

“But we are in now and waiting for our colleagues. They (security agents) gave us a condition.

“They said the building will be open by 9:00am and that they have a list that contains those (lawmakers) that will be allowed to go in”.
