APC’s Govt Of Propaganda Has Thought Nigerians Meaning Of Non-Performance – Wada

Former Kogi Governor, Captain Idris Wada, on Friday, said Nigerians have learnt the true meaning of non-performance from “the present government of propaganda.”

Captain Wada, who spoke at an awards ceremony in Lokoja, Kogi State, accused the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) of using federal might to strip Kogi people of their mandate when APC’s candidate emerged winner of the 2015 gubernatorial election.

The former governor said he didn’t lose the 2015 poll because of non-performance but because of the propaganda that was promulgated by the APC at the time.

“We were robbed in the last election by the federal power behind the ruling party, but in 2019, we are optimistic that the federal power will be in our favour,” he said.

“We must ensure that we put forward people of unquestionable character, we must unite behind whoever wins the primaries and we must not allow elections to divide us. We lost not because of non-performance, but due to propaganda. The people have now realised the meaning of non-performance when compared to the present government of propaganda,” said Wada.

Speaking earlier at the event, former governor Ibrahim Idris accused Governor Yahaya Bello of afflicting the people of Kogi with poverty.

Idris expressed hopefulness that the PDP would return to power in 2019 as Bello has allegedly failed the people.
