Barely nine months after the release of his debut album ‘Laughter, Tears and Goosebumps’, Nigerian singer-songwriter Fireboy DML has released his second studio album titled ‘Apollo’.

The singer had said Apollo was “about evolution, growth, love and pain,” while expressing, “Gratitude to God for blessings. Gratitude to everyone who worked with me on this album; gratitude to my team (YBNL/EMPIRE), my family and the kings who blessed this project with their presence.”

The 24-year-old had signed to rapper Olamide’s YBNL Nation record label in 2018. He immediately grabbed the attention of music lovers after the release of his 2018 hit single ‘Jealous’.

Following the release of Apollo, fans believe that Fireboy DML had attained the status of an a-list artist and could now be rated on the same level with the likes of Davido, Burna Boy and Wizkid.
