Atiku Presidency Gets A Boost As Northern Presidential Aspirants Join His Campaign

The presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, has been assigned four new technical advisers by the party on Monday.

Among the technical advisers are two former presidential aspirants of the PDP, Mallam Sule Lamido, former Jigawa state governor, and Senator Ahmed Makarfi, a former governor of Kaduna State.

Also appointed as technical advisers to Atiku are Hon. Yakubu Dogara, Speaker of the House of Representatives, and Senator Ike Ekweremmadu, Deputy President of the Nigerian Senate.

Lamido was also named by the opposition party as the Chairman of Elder’s Council for its campaign.

Announcing the developments in a statement on Monday, the Director of Media and Publicity of the PDP Presidential Campaign Organization, Mr Kola Ologbondiyan, also revealed that the opposition party has appointed Alhaji Kawu Baraje as technical adviser to the Director General of the Campaign, Senator Bukola Saraki, while Dr. Doyin Okupe was named media adviser to the Campaign DG.
