Atiku Reacts After Osinbajo Survived Helicopter Crash In Kogi

Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has reacted to the involvement of Vice President Yemi Osinbajo in a helicopter crash on Saturday.

Osinbajo and his crew members escaped what could have turned out a national disaster when a chopper conveying them crash landed at the Kabba township stadium.

It was gathered that the Vice President had gone to attend a segment of the ongoing election campaigns of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kogi when the mishap occurred.

Reacting, Atiku, who is the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), expressed gratitude that the Vice President wasn’t hurt as a result of the crash.

He wrote on his Facebook, “Dear Vice President Professor Yemi Osinbajo, I just received news of the crash of your helicopter in Kabba, Kogi State. I am happy to note however that all is well with you and your delegation.”

Meanwhile, THE WHISTLER recalls that the incident makes it the second time Osinbajo would escape an air mishap within a space of eight months.

The Vice President’s helicopter almost crashed sometime in June 2018 as it was forced to make emergency landing shortly after taking off from the Nigeria Customs Command and Staff College, Gwagwalada, Abuja.
