THE WHISTLER reported that the apex court’s nullification of the election came ahead of the inauguration of the Lyon as the governor of Bayelsa.

Atiku said that Diri (who polled 143, 172 votes) was capable of moving the state to the next level and that his portfolio proves that he can re-position the state towards socio-economic development.

Abubakar, who was the 2019 PDP presidential flagbearer, praised the verdict, adding that the judgment provides an opportunity for the PDP to show it is a people-oriented party.
