Defending Champions, Super Falcons of Nigeria revived their 2018 Africa Women Cup of Nations campaign with an easy 4-0 win over the Shepolopolo of Zambia on Wednesday in Cape Coast.

61 minutes on, Ordega curled in the second goal of the game after Oparanozie’s initial attempt kissed the woodwork.

14 minutes later, Super-sub Rasheedat Ajibade drove home a missile for her first ever Africa Women Cup of Nations goal to make it 3-0.

Substitute Okoronkwo drove home the fourth goal with the last kick of the game.

Recall that the Falcons had lost their opening Group B match to South Africa’s Bayana Bayana and were facing an ignominious elimination from the tournament. The result had come as a shock to Thomas Dennerby’s ladies, as it was the first time the Super Falcons lost an opening group game in the history of the tournament.
