Bauchi Govt Seeks Yaguda’s Probe Over N6bn Fraud

This was contained in a letter addressed to the EFCC chairman, dated November 27, 2015 with number GO/SS/FIN/S18/T.1 and signed by the secretary to the state government, Bello Shehu Ilelah.

The letter said the amount was supposed to be used for the execution of projects in the areas of health, education, rural development and security.

Recently, the anti-graft agency have been awash with petitions against former governors except Yuguda, until now.

The petition shows a breakdown of withdrawals from January to May of 2015 to include N351,806,000.00, N899,900,000.00, N2,040,876, 500.00, N738,200,000.00 and N2,150,441,730.00 respectively, totaling N6,181,224,230.00 for which the government is asking the EFCC to cause investigation to be conducted and former governor to provide answers.
