It’s almost that time of year again when a bunch of strangers live in a remote house competing for a cash prize.

The fourth season of the Big Brother Naija show is set to kick off after the general election and auditions are already ongoing.

In this report, THE WHISTLER takes a look at past winners of the show and how far they have fared after receiving millions of naira.

Katung was 26 years old when he won the debut edition of BBNaija in 2006 and went home with the $100,000 prize money.

Shortly after winning reality show, Katung went on to study filmmaking at the Digital Film Academy in New York.

He produced and directed the movies ‘Unwanted Guest’ and ‘Heaven’s Hell’ as well as directed many music videos and starred in Ebony Life TV’s Desperate Housewives.

Katung is not one of the famous reality show stars but when you are Senior Channel Manager at MTV Base and Executive Director at Chocolate City, you have done well for yourself.

The second season of Big Brother Nigeria premiered 11 years after the first season. Efe Ejeba emerged winner of the second season in 2017 which made him 25 million Naira richer.

He has since launched a music career and has decided to grow his fame organically like a normal upcoming artiste that he is.

Some songs released by Efe are; Based On Logistics, I Love You, Warri Ft Olamide and Somebody.

Miracle Igbokwe from Imo State emerged winner of the third season in 2018 walking away with grand prize of 45 million naira.

He became the Imo state education ambassador and he acquired his Private Pilot Licence.
