Beautiful Ghanaian Singer Ebony Reigns Dies In Auto Crash

Ghanaian afro beats artist, Priscilla Opoku-Kwarteng popularly known as Ebony Reigns has died in an auto-crash.

The popular dancehall artist was said to have been riding with her friend, Franky Kuri and two military escorts on the Sunyani-Kumasi road on Thursday when her car collided with another, claiming all four lives.

Known for her hit songs “Poison” and “Kupe”, Ebony Reigns was signed to Rufftown Records & Midas Touch Inc. and had just released her debut album Bonyfied to critical acclaim.

Many of her followers have taken to social media to pay their last respect to the deceased, who was just 20-years old when she passed.

Ebony is on record as the first female Ghanian musician to garner over a million views on all her videos released so far – Poison, Sponsor, and ‘Hustle’. She also reigns as the youngest, influential and controversial musician Ghanaians have seen in recent times.
