Beyoncé And Jay-z Welcome Twins

Beyoncé and her mogul husband Jay Z have welcomed twins into the world, the CNN reports.

The new additions bring the superstar family count to five, as they join the power couple’s 5-year-old daughter Blue Ivy.

Beyonce announced her pregnancy in February on Instagram.

“We would like to share our love and happiness. We have been blessed two times over. We are incredibly grateful that our family will be growing by two, and we thank you for your well wishes. The Carters,” she posted.

A photo of Beyoncé accompanying the announcement, in which she was surrounded by flowers and draped in sheer material, spurred both excitement and parody. It also broke records for the most-liked photo on Instagram.

The gender of the babies have not being revealed, however, former President Barack Obama earlier in the week sparked speculation that the twins would be girls.

Obama made the revelation in a a video he recorded for Jay Z, 47, to introduce the rap legend into the Songwriters Hall of Fame.

“Jay and I are also fools for our daughters, although he’s gonna have me beat once those two twins show up,” the ex-U.S president said in the video.
