Boko Haram Kills 7 In Yobe, Soldiers, Red Cross Officials In Borno

No fewer than seven people have been reportedly killed after a female suicide bomber attacked a mosque in Buni Yadi, Yobe State.

The attack was carried out in the early hours of Friday in the Gujba Local Government Area of the state.

The attacker reportedly blew herself up and died instantly while an unconfirmed number of worshippers were reported injured.

The wounded victims have since being taken to the hospital.

The incident comes days after President Muhammadu Buhari claimed the insurgents have been terribly degraded.

Recall that the sect had last week Monday abducted about 110 students of Government Girls Technical College, Dapchi, Yobe State.

Meanwhile, suspected insurgents have also reportedly killed security operatives and some officials of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) in Rann, Borno state.

The terrorists were said to have stormed the town with sophisticated weapons, killing four soldiers at a military base.

Four policemen were also reportedly shot dead. While three Red Cross officials were said to have been killed and others sustained injuries.
