Breakdown Of Four New Coronavirus Cases

Four new cases of the novel coronavirus disease COVID-19 was reported on Thursday by the Lagos state ministry of health bringing the total to 12.

According to the special assistant on health to the state government, Tunde Ajayi, the new cases which involved two men, a female and another, who all tested positive out of 19 suspected cases.

A breakdown of the new cases by Ajayi on Thursday via his twitter account shows that a Nigerian male in his 50’s who had never travelled anywhere was also admitted.

Eleven of the country’s cases to date have either been travel-related or involved close contact with a person with COVID-19, according to the updates by the health authorities.
