BREAKING: 36 House Of Reps Members Dump APC

No fewer than 36 members of the House of Representatives have defected from the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

A total of thirty-two of the defectors joined the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) while four joined the African Democratic Congress (ADC).

The defecting lawmakers cited division at all levels of the APC as the reason for their defection.

The development comes hours after 15 senators announced their defection from the APC.

Among the defectors are Sani Rano, Barry Mpigi, Ali Madaki, Dickson Tackighir, Hassan Saleh, Danburam Nuhu, Mark Gbilah, Razak Atunwa, Ahmed Bichi, Abdulsamad Dasuki, Orker Jev and Zakari Mohammed.

The announcement led to a rowdy session in the House.
