BREAKING: 39 Dead Bodies Found In Truck Container In Southeast England

At least 39 dead bodies were on Wednesday morning found in a truck container at the Waterglade Industrial Park in Grays, Essex, England, on Wednesday.

The Essex police said they have launched murder investigation in Southeast England to identify the victims and determine how the cause of their death.

“This is a tragic incident where a large number of people have lost their lives,” Chief Superintendent Andrew Mariner of the Essex Police said. “Our enquiries are ongoing to establish what has happened.”

Authorities suspect that the truck containing the dead bodies may have arrived the United Kingdom from Bulgaria through the Welsh Port of Holyhead.

The Essex police said they have since arrested a 25-year-old Northern Irish truck driver who is suspected to have committed the act.

Chief Superintendent Andrew Mariner told newsmen: “We have arrested the lorry driver in connection with the incident who remains in police custody as our enquiries continue.

“This is a tragic incident where a large number of people have lost their lives. Our enquiries are ongoing to establish what has happened,” Mariner said.

The police said among the dead was a teenager whose identity had not been determined at press time.
