BREAKING: Again, Suicide Bomber Attacks Mosque In Maiduguri

Exactly two weeks after a suicide bomber attacked a mosque inside the University of Maiduguri, another suicide bomber has detonated an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) at the Dalori quarters in Maiduguri, Borno State.

The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), confirming the incident, noted that a mosque was targeted at the quarters, which is close to the University of Maiduguri, Borno State.

Dalori quarters also few meters from the Internally Displaced Persons camp, which homes no fewer than 23,000 people and was recently accidentally bombed by the Nigerian Air Force, an incident that claimed over 70 lives.

The Media Relations Officer of the Agency, Sani Datti, said, “Our search and rescue officers are already on their way to the scene, we will give you details soon.”

Meanwhile, the Civilian Joint Task Force reported that the explosion occurred after a suicide bomber stormed the Dalori quarters mosque in the early hours of Tuesday, during the morning prayers, killing self and one other worshipper.
