This was confirmed by the Senior Special Adviser Media to the President, Malam Garba Shehu via his twitter handle on Thursday.
The presidency revealed that the release of the girls, “is the outcome of negotiations between the administration and the Boko Haram brokered by the International Red Cross and the Swiss government.”
It is confirmed that 21 of the missing Chibok Girls have been released and are in the custody of the Department of State Services, DSS.

It was gathered that the Boko Haram militants dropped the schoolgirls off on Thursday. The girls were as at the time of filing this report, in the custody of the Department of State Security, DSS.
