Breaking: Buhari Arrives Bauchi

President Muhammadu Buhari has arrived at Bauchi State.

Buhari, whose aircraft touched down at the Sir Abubakar Tafawa Balewa International Airport, Bauchi at 9:30 am Thursday, is in the state on a condolence visit.

Awaiting his arrival at the airport was Governor Muhammed Abubakar and the Speaker of Bauchi State House of Assembly, Kawuwa Damina.

He was also received by the Director General of the National Emergency Management Agency, Mr Mustapha Maihaja, as well as the Secretary to the Bauchi State Government, Mr Mohammed Nadada, among other top government officials.

Recall that only recently, there was windstorm and fire disaster in the state which left about eight people dead and one hundred and twenty others injured.

Also, an estimated 1,505 houses were destroyed mainly in the state capital after the rainstorm disaster.
